The Summit Avenue exit on the 15 North before the Cajon Pass has only ever been a refueling spot but yesterday I experienced a minor medical issue that required a lengthy respite from the usual 5pm traffic nightmare. I’d never noticed the Sushi sign on the side of the building as I exited to Summit Avenue but today in desperate need for a safe spot to rest and recover from my medical malady I decided I’d enjoy sushi once I recovered from my health issue. Lo and behold, I discovered a hidden gem that I never imagined was tucked away at the Falcon Ridge shopping center, SUMMA SUSHI!!!! They immediately offered support as I dealt with my health issue and I realized I’d dropped into a place that would have made Cheers, the old tv show restaurant, proud. I sat at the sushi bar next to a wonderful repeat customer who would have made Norm proud. The sushi-rolling experts Kevin & JK knew her well & they joked and enjoyed the experience of sushi dining as only well-acquainted friends do. She was a regular and once my medical situation subsided with their patient support, she suggested I try the seared salmon roll, something I’d never tried before at any sushi restaurant. Food is always excellent and fresh. They missed an item on my order. But it's understandable, short on help, and a little busy. It had been a while since I dined here, and I am definitely coming back. Thanks, Summa sushi 🍣

Very good sushi for lunch and reasonably priced. The fish was fresh and the pieces were good sized. Lots of booth seating and some bar seating available. Service was very good. They have a few TVs if you want to watch a game. Parking is limited in front but there is a lot more by grocery store. Very convenient location and easy on and off from the 15. Great location for a stop with an RV due to the big box store lots. Will visit again for dinner to see how crowded they get! Would recommend. Will visit again.

They service was a little slow, but hey it's Tuesday night. Other than that, this place was satiating. The Goyza were crunchy. The No Name Special Roll was creamy and light with sparring rice. I dont even like Lobster, but I couldn't stop eating the popcorn Lobster on the Super Diablo Roll. The absolute topper though, was by far the Tempura Fried Green Tea Ice Cream... I will go back just for desert!
